Waiting . . .
Well, Thursday was supposed to be my induction date, but the hospital kept putting me off when I would call because they were understaffed and had no available beds. It was so frustrating!!! To pass the time waiting for a potential call, we decided to go see a movie and go out to dinner while Trenton stayed with Grandpa and Lita. We saw Ocean's 13, which was really funny, and went to Red Robin, one of Landon's favorite restaurants.
Maxwells and Thomases were there with us to keep us distracted. 
They even bought Landon a shot of Jack Daniels for an early "Congratulations on Being a Father Again" present. It was cute because the waitress brought it out with a blue balloon as if it was his birthday and shouted, "Attention Red Robin, Landon is going to have a baby tomorrow!"
Unfortunately, she was wrong because we still didn't get called on Friday!!! It wasn't until 1:45am on Saturday morning that the hospital called with an available bed. And this was only because my doctor had convinced them to bump me to the top of the list for medical reasons. There were still 4-6 women waiting for a call after me, and that was only to complete Thursday's list! Who knows how many women were on Friday's list. Anyway, the point is, I got called in Saturday morning - Woo hoo!!! Baby time :-) More pictures of that to come . . .

Tomorrow is the Day!
Here's my "couple days past 38 weeks" picture, although Sawyer is measuring at 40 weeks and my belly beyond 40, or past due, which is definitely a good way of describing how I feel! :-) I had my ultrasound on Tuesday and he weighs in the high 8's, low 9's and I still have extra fluid, all of which accounts for my size. Isn't this going to be fun to get off?!?! Anyway, this is officially my last belly picture and from now on we'll see cute baby pictures. Yea!!

36 weeks
Today I went for my usual appointment and neither of the doctors was in the office so I told the nurse that we were supposed to schedule my induction and my ultrasound. I told her that Dr. Bullaro had said we'd do the ultrasound 2 days before the induction to check his size and position. But when she measured my belly with the measuring tape, she said I am a sound 40 weeks! My belly is 4 weeks ahead of itself - no wonder I feel so big!! So, she wanted to do an ultrasound now to see how big he is and see why I'm measuring so far ahead. It was a fun surprise!! I got to see Sawyer - they confirmed that he is still a boy :) - and he was so cute. He kept opening and closing his mouth and moving his hand up by his face. Although the profile is remarkably similar to his 20 week one, it is definitely more defined. I know this doesn't do it justice, but seeing him move around on that monitor was just crazy and beautiful. Anyway, she said he is measuring at 38 weeks, so only 2 ahead, but that I also have extra fluid making my belly pop out like that. Nice huh? I asked why that happens and she said, life. God gives me a big baby AND some extra fluid just to make sure I'm really uncomfortable ;-) As of right now, she etimates his weight at 7lb 13 oz!!! She is going to pass on this information to the doctor tomorrow and I should be getting a call with my induction appointment. Yippee!Saturday, July 7, 2007
Oh man!
I went to the doctor on Thursday and Dr. Bullaro said Sawyer is growing bigger and bigger (no surprise there, have you seen my belly?!) Since Trenton was 9lb 6oz at birth, they want to take this one early because second babies supposedly grow even faster. They are setting up an appointment at the hospital for induction on July 27th! In less than three weeks, Landon and I will be welcoming Sawyer Kemp Anderson into the family!!

35 Weeks
Well, my goal was to keep the same background for every picture, but then we moved and wrecked that plan. This one is definitely boring and not as flattering, but there's not many pictures left to take anyway!! :-) I am 35 weeks today. Just 3 more weeks and I get another ultrasound to see how big Sawyer really is and then we may be picking an induction date. Holy cow, in not time at all I am going to be the mother of two boys. Am I ready for this? Am I old enough for this?
