Sharing the Tub
Trenton and Landon were taking a bath the other night and on the spur of the moment we threw Sawyer in there too!
What a Morning Person
Sawyer now wakes up talking instead of crying to eat. It really is adorable; I only wish it wasn't at 7:30 in the morning! It's like he's just done sleeping, but not ready to eat yet. One morning, when I looked at him he was talking to himself in the mirror above his swing and it was SO cute. I really wanted to get it on camera, but all I managed was one video of him talking and one where he's swinging looking at himself in the mirror. Just imagine them together :-)

Chatterbox
He's growing so fast. In two days, he'll be two months!!
Bob
Sawyer has another nickname . . . Bob . . . short for Bob the tomato. I've already established in earlier posts that he is much crankier than Trenton was as a baby. I also have more to do because he has an older brother to share my time with. Well, sometimes he just has to cry it out and he gets SO red all over his little head. His hair is so fine and light colored too, that sometimes he looks bald :-) It's at these times that Landon and I started calling him Bob and well, the name just stuck. Now he even gets called Bob when he's smiley and being cute (like right now while I'm typing this!)
Don't think I'm mean for taking this picture while he was so miserable. I picked him up right after!!

Sawyer in Action
Watch the mirror shot at the end of the video -- he totally smiles and sticks out his tongue!! I just wish I had been in the front and caught it up close . . . it's too cute.
The Bouncer
We finally found something else Sawyer likes besides the swaddle! He's getting older now and we've developed a routine. He eats and then goes in the bouncer for some play time. He'll start to cry when he's done with that and then it's into the swaddle and rock him to sleep. It's the only way to survive with Mr. Crank ;-)

I almost caught a smile . . .
Caterpillar
Sawyer spends, I would estimate, 80% of his day in the swaddler! He is such a little crank and this is the best way to calm him down-wrap him like a caterpillar, put the paci in, and put him in the swing. It seems almost claustrophobic to me, but he enjoys it :-)

Anderson Boys
Can you tell who is who in each pair of pictures???

Everyone keeps saying how much Trenton and Sawyer look alike, so I had to do a comparison. Trenton is first in the awake pictures and second in the asleep pictures. They are both definitely Anderson boys, there's no mistaking!

When Trenton was born, we started calling him Squirm or Squirmy because he would never stay still. Well, Sawyer now has his nickname: Scowl, or as we affectionately call him, Scowlie :-) He always has his eyebrows bunched and looks like he's mad at the world. Here is a picture that captures it perfectly! So our two kids, Squirm and Scowl - doesn't it sound like a good name for a cartoon?!
